Steak and Beans

This is my husbands favorite and one of my favorites. πŸ™‚ Enjoy!
Brown and white rice mixed because i don’t like to eat brown rice itself. πŸ™‚

Things you need: Like always turmeric (Antiseptic)
chili pepper
ginger and garlic paste
beaf or pork

1. Boil (with water right above the meat) (you can boil in slow cooker, if you have time or pressure cooker, cooks faster  if you want it super tender) the chopped regular any beaf/steak with salt, few cloves of garlic and half a tea spoon of veg. oil/any oil.
Do Not put any oil if the meat has fat in them, you really do not need it. It so much healthier  that way and no difference in taste.
Put the frozen beans in warm water to thaw and get the water off. If fresh? Awesome!!
2. Add a pinch of turmeric because you are adding just coz it is antiseptic, you do not want to change the flavor.
3.After about 10-15 minutes of boiling, stuff like this comes out.. i think it looks nasty, could be preservatives. scoop it out!
4. I added some more spice because i like it spicy πŸ˜€  cover it and cook for more if you want meat tender and let the water dry out.
5. After the water has dried out (make sure you don’t burn the meat, BUT incase you do (Not upto the extent where your meat is complete charcoal though)  πŸ˜¦ dont worry, change the pot and continue πŸ™‚ add beans.
6.Add beans and sprinkle some salt on top. I added some more beans (frozen coz’ i felt i needed more greens). Which doesn’t harm the process.
7. Cover it and let it sit for about 5-7 minutes and while doing that, if the mix is becoming really dry, you can add some water and table spoon of oil.
8.When the beans are almost cooked, add your ginger garlic paste and cover it one more time.
9. After 5-7 more minutes, stir and check if the beans are cooked or if there is enough salt. Add some salt / oil if you need. If it sticks like this.. it is okay. THAT’S IT! serve with rice. Enjoy.. πŸ˜€
